Well, thought of posting a difficulty encountered while installing Winamp 5+ edition into my PRESENTLY UPGRADED Win98. Winamp 5+ Installation is taking place, but at the end it refuses with a remark "WINAMP.EXE FILE is missing.....SHLWAPI.DLL:Path Is NetWorkPathW.....". And one other Winamp5++ install CD I had is accepted by the computer but inbetween it said "This type of winamp expects a higher version of windows....." Ultimately I am just to satisfy with Winamp basic (2nd) Version.....Any solution here, sir?

Winamp 5 is only compatible with Windows 2000 or above. I don't think you will get it to work on 98 as the OS is completely different in 98 to 2000/XP/Vista.
