hi, I have unhappy PC. The systme didn't shut down corectly and since has been showing signs of discontent!
The major problem is that when ever I now start up , it gives me a KERNELL.DLL ERROR ?!?!?? no idea?
The graphics have gone 'big' and all pictures/photos have become really pixellated!?? what has happened and can it be fixed with undue mental stress!!
Regards

Try running a system restore to before this happened. It may not work, but it is a simple first start.

Can you give us the exact error message that comes up?

I get various error messages, the main ones are...
lexplore has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL.
or
Hqredxpr has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL.
and a new one today
Rwetxcxvu has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL.

All the applications see mto work ok, but the graphics is so 1970's!!!
I have noticed when i go to Display and Settings, the colour is set at 16 colours, it will not save the 256 colurs or High Colour option. not sure if thsi is relevant!?

Any ideas?!?!?!?!?

It sounds like the two problems may be connected. Reinstalling your display (graphics card) drivers should hopefully resolve the problem.

You should have a driver CD that came with either the PC, or the graphics card if you bought that separately.
