I am having a right pickle of a problem with a server that should be sending images over an Ethernet network to a desktop computer however the images never arrive. There is software that sends and receives the images.
It WAS working originally and there doesn’t seem to be any particular indication why it has now stopped.
The software doesn’t seem to have caused this problem for anyone else according the forum posts I have scoured thus far.
It happens with the software updates or without.
There are no NEW conflicts or instalations that may interfer.
The network hasn’t changed in any way.
All the drivers are up to date. The server is clean as far as the security software shows.
I am really looking for ideas or suggestions at this point. |

it would help if you could explain how you are "sending" the pictures
what software are you using on the two machines? You#ve not named it
what are you using to capture the images - are these live images from a webcam or stored images from a folder?
i
what security software and / or firewalls do you have running? |

the software is 'PZflex',
the images are taken from a folder.
by remote desktop are meant to be displayed in PZflex. when done at the server directly it works. when remotely it doesn't work
should have mentioned that before sorry. |

thats a pretty specialist piece of software and I for one would be loathe to offer advice without being familiar with it. All I can say is the usual - check firewall, sharing permissions, networking paths etc.
I do remember (while working elsewhere) years ago someone having a torrid time using it attempting to view medical scans remotely (they were in Australia, he was in Europe) and it couldn't be done with the home computer he'd purchased from us - it needed something much more powerful.
Best I can suggest initially is that you try the PZFlex support forum at
