windows xp installation

I loaded windows Xp home edition onto another computer and must have selected the 28 day trial by mistake, now that time is up the computer screen has gone blank and wont let me do anything, i can enter set up and when i select last known good configuration it doesnt work, HELP!!

I wasn't aware that there was a 28 day trial version of Windows XP Home.

Please be aware that XP Home is normally only licenced to be installed on 1 computer. Also, if it is an OEM version, it is only licenced for the computer it was supplied with/for.

You say that you get a blank screen; is this back (like the monitor is turned off) or is there anything at all there? When it goes bank, does the hard drive light continue to flicker, or is everything dead?
