Yeah, I can see why many businesses would want to stick with XP. After all it took years for XP to become stable and robust. I have just got a new laptop with Windows Vista, and already I have had to download loads of updates. It takes some getting used to as well, and not all software is compatible. Although, I think in a year or so it will settle down and become the OS of choice.

Interesting that the article says that many businesses are looking at Linux as an alternative. I think it is a brave company that scraps Windows OS for Linux on client machines. Pretty much no current software will run unless emulators are used, and users and support staff will not be familiar with it.

Maybe the dominance of M$ is heading for decline?

It looks like a lot of people don't want to move to Vista. Some people just don't like change...
